You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.About the PositionThe Powder Coat Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques. This role ensures high-quality finishes that meet company standards and customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Night shift: 2:30pm-11:00pmResponsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens.Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finish and thickness.Inspect coated parts for quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and correcting defects.Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Track and report production data, including material usage and job completion times.Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and recommend process improvements.Qualification Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment.Skills:Manual dexterity and precision.Basic mechanical aptitude.Time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Position Pay Range$21.45 - $23 USDWhat OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
