Their new Dayton, MN headquarters includes a 500,000-square-foot facility where employees can grow their career and build engineered-to-order products that help power our modern-world technology.As a Powder Coat Painter, you'll be operating a variety of coating equipment including paint guns, hoppers, and booth systems per customer orders. This is a collaborative role where you'll be working alongside others to load products onto fixtures, prep products for coating, and bake parts once the coating has been applied. Powder Coat Painters must undergo a PFT and FIT evaluation, and respirators will be required to be worn occasionally.Schedule Options:1st Shift: Monday to Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:45pm-2:15amPay:$25.00-$27.50/hour, based on experienceWeekly paychecks every FridayLocation and Work Environment:Openings at both Champlin, MN and Dayton, MN facilitiesClean working environmentOption to wear one earbud on the production floorResponsibilities and Duties:Load parts onto fixturesPrep parts for coatingOperate coating equipment (paint guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems)Review machine gauges and equipment operationsAdjust paint flow, viscosity, and coating qualityAdjust temperatures and time limits to bake painted parts appropriatelyReview painted parts for quality and ensure customer specifications are metSkills and Qualifications:0-3 years of related experience OR training OR equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious powder coating experience (preferred)Ability to read, interpret, and understand detailed design printsPFT and FIT evaluation (required)Ability to occasionally wear a respirator (required)High school diploma OR equivalent (required)Pre-employment background check (required)Pre-employment drug screen (required)Benefits and Perks:Paid holidaysMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceTerm lifeShort-term disability401(k)Employee assistance programReferral programGrowth opportunitiesBreakrooms with inside convenience store
